treasure here – v2

We value the flesh, we are human,
gathering up praise, our treasure,
from man, fearing rejection,
false idols of pride, of control,
selfish instincts replacing the Father,
holding onto control, no surrender,
treasure here, not in heaven above…
 
We must slay our idols, our false gods,
We must turn from the flesh, the world,
praise, our treasure here on earth.
We must seek holiness, our purpose
in the true God who created;
We must find wholeness
in the love of God…
