with His own blood – v2

God paid my debt
one I could never pay
God saved my life
with His own blood…
 
God in the flesh
chose to die for me
He took my shame
to set me free sin…
 
God took the wrath
the Father had kindled
Christ paid the price
to atone for my sin…
 
God alone knew the cost
the weight of my sin
Christ took the shame
to set me free again…
