Do not Worship yourself

Turn from your old life,
holding onto control,
Do not worship yourself,
surrender your life to God…
 
Confess your whole sin,
everything you have done,
all the ways you have acted out
separating yourself from God…
 
Admit that you are broken
Trust God to heal you
Submit your life and your will
To the one who can save you…
 
Do not worship yourself
any false idols, the flesh,
Confess to God and others fully,
giving God your whole heart,
all that you are…
