Our integrity becomes gray

 Our integrity becomes gray

with each excuse, each equivocation

each redirection, each changing

our integrity becomes gray

drifting from the standard

we lose our way, our character

others lose trust in our statements

with each lie, each compromise,

each excuse, each equivocation.
