We don’t want the storm – v2

Our fears hold us in chains
we are frozen, stagnated, paralyzed,
we don’t follow our calling;
We don’t want the storm
to feel rejection, struggle,
but the battle is already raging.
 
We believe the lie
of comfort, of inertia,
of Fear, the Enemy, of Satan;
We forget out Good Shepherd,
Christ who walks with us.
 
We don’t want the storm
but the war has already started;
God walks with us in the darkness
we don’t have to walk in Fear
we must walk as risen people
in belief, in our faith.
