you created a thin space – v3

You created a thin space,

brushing at the edge of heaven,

coming as close as breath

to the infinite, imagination.

Conjuring magic, emotion

opening a pathway, a doorway,

a channel for them to enter,

to sojourn here with us.

A thin place created

for ancestors, for others,

to smile, to bloom, to blossom,

so they might grace us for a moment

but a moment ending too soon.
