you created a thin space

you created a thin space,

brushing the edge of heaven,

coming as close as breath

to the infinite, imagination

conjuring magic, emotions

opening a pathway

a channel for them to enter,

to sojourn here with us

to smile, to blossom,

gracing us for a moment

but a moment ending too soon
