a vengeful harsh God
through vision corrupted
a God more like Zeus
sitting on the throne
throwing down lightning
bolts
a vengeful harsh God
showing no mercy
focused on our failings
not seeing the love
the gift of Christ Jesus
not a vengeful harsh God
Christ made the way for us
back to our loving Father
God seated on the throne
waiting for His children
