pricing their gift

nothing held back
what was given
not putting a price
on the gifts of the people
a harvest, a bounty
of unwanted things
given to be used
for those who have need
pricing their gift
missing the point
a gift of grace
to be shared with the world
our neighbors, the people
those close to us
a reflection, a blessing
giving of God’s love
