Kneeling at the manger

Kneeling at the manger
the birth of our Lord and Savior,
Emmanuel, God here with us,
God in mortal flesh…
 
Bowing down with the others
the wise men, the shepherds,
before the Babe in the manger,
the Man who would climb my cross…
 
Kneeling at the manger
in awe and in humble worship,
that Grace had come to the earth,
on that sacred silent night…
