Christ climbed my cross

Christ climbed my cross,
More than two thousand years
before I was born,
Christ paid the debt
I could never pay…
 
Christ descended as the Servant,
He rose in victory, fulfilling,
The purpose God had for His life,
The reason He had entered the world,
To save a wretch like me…
 
Christ climbed my cross,
That is how much God loves us,
Christ paid the debt
I could never pay;
Christ bought my freedom…
