Seeing Christ is seeing God,
wherever we encounter him
in the words of the holy scriptures
in the lessons of his life
His teachings to the disciples
His life as an example, as model,
as witness to righteousness
loving relationships in our life’s journey
a way of seeing the intangible, the infinite
in terms we can comprehend
And when even that seems too far off
Christ himself made it clear,
as we do it to the least,
we do it to him, so we do to God
seeing God in all in need
