A letter to the people,
his people in exile,
of acceptance to their lot,
this season in exile,
as willed by the creator.
To make the most of,
to thrive in, a foreign land
to be accepting of their station,
their captivity, their defeat.
To see the faithfulness of God,
the wisdom of being happy
in their time and place.
To bear children,
honoring of God’s promise
and praying for your enemy
Accepting their lot
