Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer
Names of the Trinity
avoiding the patronymic
the male language
that separates many from God
the loaded language
But losing something
in the translation in naming
the roles of the one God
For God needs the personalization
the relation of human forms
of images we can relate to;
but without the formalism
the distance of
the male faces of God
to see the richness
in the way God relates to us
and to the Creation
from the beginning of time
to the present moment
where the Spirit lives
and acts
through us
