Spending currency he doesn’t own – v2

A legacy we will all regret,
the full faith and credit,
the good name of America,
that which cannot be recovered,
once it is lost, trampled, squandered,
once it has been dragged through the mud…
 
Spending currency he doesn’t own,
he is merely a caretaker, a fiduciary, a steward,
a guardian of a sacred trust he is busy destroying,
squandering the good name of America, sorrow,
before our enemies, our allies, nation-states,
dragging the idea of America through the mud…
 
Given a mandate for prosperity, to make us great again,
to draw us inward, stronger, but attacking, harming,
siding with our sworn enemy, undercutting our neighbors,
our allies, our brothers in the fight, in the crucible,
of war, of the right, of justice, of freedom, America,
dragging a legacy of division, bleeding in the mud…
