Raising up their faith
not just their friend
Going to lengths
to bring him to Christ
Nothing would stop them
knowing his power
Believing enough
to tear the roof off
Raising up their faith
up onto the rooftops
Entering in
by outstretched hands
There with Jesus
at the feet of our savior
Honored by Christ’s blessing
because of their faith
Healed in an instant
picking up his mat
Going as Christ sent him
out into the world
The others surprised
astonished by Jesus
But not the friends
who had carried him in
They had known already
somehow guided
Their faith strong enough
that walls did not stand in their way
