Ancient friends
without any regulations
not accepting
that their friend
could not enter in
Raising him up
onto the rooftop
tearing a hole
in the building’s roof
Lowering him down
right before our Savior
healed by the faith
made fully clean
Making this place
open to their neighbor
the one on the mat
unable to walk
Brought into the sanctuary
where Christ was preaching
not accepting no
and finding a way
