Messengers, the
seasons,
the turning of the
page,
ancient words of
scripture
and the heavens
declare
God offering Himself
to us
that we may find
our way
back to Him, to
His grace,
to His warm
embrace
God calls us with
the
babe in the manger
with the Son upon
the cross,
our loving sacrifice
God woos us with the
words of scripture
and the lives of
the saints
proving His
covenants with us
that His promises are
fulfilled
God is with us
ever, still,
offering us a way
to Him
through Christ,
the babe,
our brother and
our King
