God’s messengers,
the seasons,
the turning of the
page,
ancient words of
scripture
and the heavens
declare
God’s glory, God’s
grace
for all of us.
God offers Himself
to us
His Son, His
Spirit,
that we may find
our way
back to Him, to
His grace,
to His warm
embrace
at the end of the
journey.
God calls us with
the
babe in the manger
with the Son upon
the cross,
our loving sacrifice
with the means of
grace
living all around
us.
God woos us with
the words of
scripture
and the lives of
the saints
proving His
covenants with us
that His promises are
fulfilled
that His word is
true.
God is with us
ever, still,
offering us a way
to Him
through Christ,
the babe,
our brother and
our King
through the Holy
Spirit
who lives within
us.
