Prayer is not just talking,
speaking our minds, venting our issues,
dumping our troubles, all about us
A conversation instead, a two way street
time to speak and to listen to God
empowering us, giving us a chance
to hear God’s word, his message
his power infusing our lives
steeling us, filling us
bringing our lives to God
humbly, bowing, waiting, trusting
speaking and listening too.
