A grounding, an attitude
entering into prayer
so he taught them,
as he is teaching us
a way of communicating
without our one Father
Praying in the plural
it is “our”, “we”, “us”
an attitude of inclusion
offering, offered thanks,
petitions for more than ourselves
all to our one Father.
