simple prayer, trusting as a little child
so we should come to our Father
praying as they do, simply, no big words,
no complication needed,
for he knows what is in our hearts
even before we speak the words
even when the words do not come
come to the creator, to the master
humbly, as a little child
trusting that our prayers are heard
and they are answered, in God’s time;
listen for his voice
