Drinking the waters
polluted waters of the world
the world’s values, agenda
losing sight, focus
on sources of strength
real food, nourishment
Needing the living waters
the fountain, eternal wellspring
the love, the grace, God
pouring into my heart
filling me with the indwelling Spirit
relationship with the Son
my brother, the Christ
Walking with my Savior
refreshed, made whole
no longer thirsty
fed by the love of God
