By His Faith (2)

Not by his deeds
anything he had done
by his faith alone,
Abram made right with God

So it is, down to this age,
at the heart of our salvation
faith in the love of God
guiding us on our way

Hope fulfilled in his promises
the father and the son
the spirit speaking his love for us
all the days of our lives
