Oh, I know, so well
the words of John
I am so unworthy
not even to touch
the thong of his sandal
The dust of the road
the dirt of the path
his eyes set on Jerusalem
going before me
leading me
climbing the cross
in my place
Oh yes, I am aware
painful in my guilt
of my lowly state
utterly unworthy
of his amazing grace.
