Falling into your word,
the living waters of scripture
being fed with the law, the precepts,
the stories of your people,
straying but you are always there
lifting them up, lifting me up now
in the wilderness, in the desert
challenging times, time of pruning
time of plenty, moments of trial
of transition, opening up new callings
new ways to serve; being fed, in your word
poured into me, into my spirit,
ready to share, to pour out
as your spirit leads me
