With a tree, a branch, some wood
cast, at the command of God,
bitter water made sweet,
complaints silenced
Heavenly provision
(and that was the point),
the people found their thirst quenched
their needs met; before the manna, the quails,
bitter water was made sweet
in the desert, the wilderness
God provided, God provides still
Trust in the Lord, always
