a new moment in our lives,
together we are centered, waiting, listening
for the will of God, the still small voice
speaking from the silence, from the stillness
searching for our mission, our call
as a people, as a congregation
Flawed servants, able, only with God’s hand
to minister, to share grace, to bring hope
Their message clear, we, together
must be ready, must be attentive,
our oil full, our lamps lit, our hearts open
our hands prepared, to serve
