On the Water
splashing in the air
crossing the wake, the wave
other boats on the water
Sitting in the sun, open air
remembering so many moments
when I was on the water, alone
me and my canoe, lingering
lounging in the water, drifting,
floating, shifting with wind,
with waves of wind, of tides,
other boats in a hurry
not me, and my time
on the water again
basking in the moment,
glory of the day
