water in the drought – v4

we must be humble on the journey,

faithful in the desert,

offering water in the drought

giving in to our struggles

offering to God

all that we can offer

not just the excess

it will be enough.

we must only give Caesar

that which he claims,

and no more than that,

offering God the rest

water in the desert

faithful in the dust

our few coins offered to God

it will be enough.
