faithful
in the shadow lands, far
from home
from any hope of salvation
of reconciliation with their
Promised Land
a hope in life after death
to be faithful, to soldier
on,
the wise discerning, sensing
the living presence of God
of the angel armies, of
Michael,
of the prince of the people
a promise in heaven
of going into battle for
them
a hope in life after death
a resurrection hope for them
for all of us who believe
