Scouting Sunday
You can make a difference
-
Mystery Box –
o cross and Boy Scout medallion with
§ “You Make a Difference” on it
-
Have you ever heard about a
problem in the world but didn’t know how you as one person couldn’t make a
difference? or
-
Have you ever felt a time in
life when you were asked to join something but you thought you couldn’t make a
difference?
-
When something like that happens
we need to remember that there is a power bigger than you, than us.
o
We have strength greater
than ourselves in God
o
We have a hope at the foot
of the cross through Christ, through God.
o
We can get through, our strength
grows
o
God and Christ can make a
difference through us.
-
In this world, you can make
a difference.
o
The world is better already
just because you are in it.
o
We serve to make a
difference
-
You can AND will make a
difference in this life if you stay close to God and Christ.
