An image before us
but the brain hearing
a symphony of color
transforming, perceiving
a light in the words
power o’er us
tasting the morning
hearing the words, alive

segment on how babies,
when they are wearing a
brain cap,
to do EEG measurements,
don’t always
have the visual cortex
light up
when they see something
but sometimes
have the auditory cortex
light up,
as if they are hearing the
image, the colors.
