blood on our hands

so many towns
names which we know
innocents slaughtered
in the halls the classrooms
hell here below

blood on our hands
in the name of freedom
carnage repeating
our guns now increase

will reason intervene
stepping back from the brink
our will more arms be loosed
in our land, on the streets
