We died in the Garden
that choice of Adam, of Eve,
to defy God
to eat of the fruit,
forbidden by the Creator,
to give in to temptation,
the lies of Satan,
sacrificing heaven
on the altar of sin...
 
We died in the Garden
following our parents,
to defy God
our fate tied to the choice
to eat of the fruit,
forbidden by the Creator,
our lives changed forever
baked in the cake
cursed by their sin...
