I am scared, risk averse,
Afraid of my own shadow,
Fear is my Demon,
My constant companion...
 
So many years, what is,
What might have beens,
Not following my dreams,
Afraid of my own shadow...

Fear is my Enemy – v2

Fear is my Enemy,
the Demon that stalks me,
my constant companion,
I am frozen, in inertia,
I am mired in awful dread...
 
Fear stalks me,
the Demon that calls me,
Fear dwells within me,
Fear whispers,
Fear defeats me...
 
Fear is my Enemy,
the Demon screaming,
my mortal danger,
stealing my dreams,
my prayers for happiness…

Fear is my Enemy,
My constant companion,
I am frozen, inertia,
I am mired in dread...
 
Fear stalks me,
Fear dwells within me,

Lord, I pray in the darkness

I scream in the wilderness

Lift me from my pit

my deep anguish

from my struggles, my demons

from the depths I beg You

Restore me again

I have stumbled

not trusting You enough,

listening to the wind

Lift me, I am falling,

sinking beneath the wave

Save me, Lord, save me

I am bound for the grave
