God’s first word is Light
his motivation Love
wanting to walk with us
in the universe He created
Like a good Father, compassion
merciful with us ever
seeking to teach us the better way
yet standing right beside us
There when we run away
when we get ourselves in trouble
still when we run to him
broken, in our sorrow
Right with us in the journey
even when we curse his name
there sacrificing for us
even sending himself to die
to bear our sin upon himself
drinking the cup of our sorrows
climbing the rugged cross
Dying that we may yet live
rising from the waters with him
yet like a good Father loving us enough
to make our own choice in life

“God’s not human and his first language is not English. (Andy Reese)”
My reply to his post was, “God’s first language is love.”
