we forget to believe
to truly change our path
thinking God will judge us
the way we would judge
harsh witness, no mercy
casting our neighbors out
we forget God’s love
ready to forgive us
if we turn to him
repenting of our sin
ready to heal us
to pour out his love
forgiving us complete
healing our souls
