God made us in his image
and placed us in the garden
to live there with us
to walk with us
part of his purpose
beings to commune with
to be there presence
in the garden with us
God’s first hope communion
though we cast him out
by our disobedience
eating of the fruit
that which he commanded
breaking the union with him
