In what he spoke
in the language of his choice
the way God spoke to us
as his children here on earth
To love his children
each choice on the way
the journey to the cross, the kingdom
love the way of God
From the very beginning
when Adam ate the apple
all of what happened after that
proof of God’s endless love
Whatever we have done
denying, cursing his name
failing to be faithful
in Love God found a way
To love his children
each one of us
no matter how broken
God spoke love to us
now as at the beginning

“God’s not human and his first language is not English. (Andy Reese)”
My reply to his post was, “God’s first language is love.”
