It’s the road

not the destination, the journey
it’s the road we travel
the Lenten season
walking with our Lord
getting the dust upon us
as we journey
going to Jerusalem
to David’s holy city
where all prophets died
walking with Jesus
as he taught of God’s love
walking, an example
of how to journey in life
