Demons Stalking the Night

Murderer’s marauders
henchmen of the madman
holding on to power
by silencing the opposition

Stealing the people
from their own beds
for speaking out for freedom
now there is dread

Fear of the people
under the foot of the tyrant
repression all free expression
protest in the streets

Hiding in the darkness
the evil on his peoples
murdering the innocents
making more martyrs of freedom
