Measured by God’s Grace

If we need to more fully understand
the words of the scripture
if we are to believe
we can trust in the Lord

Our cares, our worries
beyond all proportion
when balanced against the grace
of Christ’s going to the cross

Our lives with purpose
with great value
when measured by God’s grace
his love for you and me

Descending from heaven
walking as a person
going to the cross for us
that we might have life

Far more than the others
the rest of creation
God loving us enough
to die to set us free

We should let go
turn over our worries
trusting in God to provide
for all of our needs
