In the beginning of our nation
the bands of Minutemen, rebels
the opposition of tyranny
rising in the colonies

We were called rebels
the king would never agree
that we were fighting for our freedom
our life and liberty

If there had been the internet
if there was CNN
would the mercenaries of the tyrant
putting down the rebellion
been seen as we see them now
