The words of Christ
speaking to us
each of us hearing
his words just for us
Do not be worried
of your clothing, your food
God will provide all
all we will need
We need to be mindful
of the lilies of the field
so vivid in their outfits
given by the Lord
The birds of the air
all that they need
providing a harvest
to feed the whole world
God with us now
to calm our fears
turning over our worries
everything in the way
Trusting in God
he will provide
do not be worried
follow him today
