Cringing in watching
the lies of the sons
the madness of the father
washing off on them

A stage for madness
for telling the lies
unable to confront the evil
sitting by her side

Needing to be set apart
to be out of the center of power
able to speak freely
to not fear restrictions

Access not enough
to justify providing
a stage for evil
to spew its bile
