asymmetric warfare

like the colonists in the revolution,
the ancient of our days,
an empire using brute power,
but stumbling in its way…
 
asymmetric warfare
bravery, resolve, courage,
standing in the path of evil,
the tyrant’s twisted plans…
 
rising to meet the challenge,
the exigency of this moment,
the teacher, the crucible of war,
the ingenuity of this people…
 
asymmetric warfare
drones and their deployment,
radical advances in technology,
in the tools of modern war…
 
they will not be defeated,
like the colonists that forged our nation,
they have risen to this moment,
the tyrant is being defeated…
