haunted by my sin
the way I betrayed You
leaving path, You way,
forever estranged from You…
the depths of my sin
have ever been before me,
nowhere to run, to hide,
You know my heart completely…
knowing fully my sin,
the ways I have hurt You,
I know I am guilty of what I did,
but You paid my shame for me…
haunted by my sin
but giving my shame to You,
taking my chains off me,
laying them at Your feet…
I now walk in more freedom,
bringing myself to Your altar,
a mended vessel empty,
to be filled, to be poured…
