sin is pernicious, an invasive weed,
an unwanted seed growing
within the wheat, our hearts,
as we seek to follow the Christ…

sin is quiet, waiting,
lurking deep in the depths,
longing for an opportunity
to separate our hearts from Christ…

sin is ever-present, stalking us
in this world, within our hearts…
We must be ever vigilant,
in our daily walk with Christ…
