collapsing in on itself
Retribution for genocide
for endless war crimes...

descending into darkness
as Winter closes in,
drones targeting electricity,
the war come home...
 
the Bear caught in a trap
the enemy of General Winter,
an accounting coming quickly,
in His icy grip...

descending into darkness 
Ukrainian drones and missiles
taking out Russian energy systems
as Winter approaches…

The title is about the Russian winter and its role in
the Great Northern War, the Napoleonic War, and WWII,
and how it may be very different in the Ukraine War,
where Ukraine is using asymmetrical warfare to attack
oil and gas infrastructure rather than invading
